What are surveys?
A: Surveys are questionnaires designed to teach companies what their
customers think about their products and services. They can be done online or
over the phone. The answers from all the participants are then compiled by the
market research company and presented to their client.

Q: Do
companies really pay people to take surveys?
A: Yes!
Thousands of people are making money taking online surveys every day. We
ourselves participate in many surveys, as well as our friends and family. Its a
great way for anyone to earn some extra cash, whether you are a stay-at-home
mom, student, or anyone who has a little extra free time. Many people
participate in surveys for a living, and don't have another job. However, you
must be at least 18 years of age.

Q: Can I do this anywhere? I do not live in the US.
A: Yes.
You do not have to live in the US to participate in online surveys or focus
groups. Most of these questions are general and have to do with online activity
or general personal opinions. Anyone can do it .. in any country.

Are there any special computer, hardware or
software requirements?
A:
No, most definitely not. If
you are reading this now it means you already have the Internet access and basic
web browsing software that you will need to take surveys and get paid for your
opinions. It really doesn't matter if you use Windows, Macintosh, or even WebTV.

Do I get paid per survey? How much?
A: The pay for each survey varies, but depending on the length, you
can get paid anywhere up to $75 per survey! Most companies will pay you cash,
but some will compensate you with products, gift certificates, etc. Some will
enter you into drawings for large cash prizes, let you earn points that can be
used to buy products, or redeem these points for cash.

How will I be paid and how often?
A: The
company you will be doing the surveys for will pay you by company check by postal
mail in US dollar (bring it to a bank near you to cash them). Most paychecks are
sent twice monthly .. some will pay once a month.

What about income taxes?
A: You will be
responsible for your tax management. Taxes are not deducted from the survey paid
amount. The survey pay amount (per survey) is the final amount paid for that
individual survey. You are not required to fill out a w-9 or any other federal
documents.

How long are the surveys? How long are focus groups? How much time will it take
me?
A: With surveys, much depends on your own speed, but generally we'd
estimate about 10-15 minutes per survey. Focus Groups vary even greater. A focus
group could last anywhere from 30 minutes to several hours...generally with the
pay increasing the longer the company needs you!

Q:
How soon after I sign-up can I get started and make some money?
A: Once you sign-up you can get started immediately. This is not to
say you will be offered surveys or make money within an hour after joining, but
there are several things you need to do in preparation of taking surveys - and
you can do these things immediately upon joining us.
Some people start receiving surveys within a few hours, but the average waiting is usually at least a few days. It really depends on your "profile",
and which companies you register with.
Please keep in mind that many market research companies only send out 1-2
surveys a month. With these it will take at least a few weeks before you are
entered into their system and start receiving surveys from them, depending on
when you register.
So for example, if you only register with 10 programs and they all happen to
only send out 1 survey a month, it will take at least a few weeks before you see
any surveys.
It's crucial to register with as many as you can - you will NOT make a lot of
money from any one company. We introduce you to 100s of companies, and the more
you register with the more surveys you can take. It's that simple. Once you get
going you can do surveys every day.
Unfortunately we can't tell you which companies are "best" for you,
because it really depends on you - who you are, where you live, what you do for
a living, and all of the other things that make-up your personal
"profile" which is what determines the surveys you'll be offered.
... but don't worry, because before long you'll know which ones are best for
you. Most people end up favoring a handful of 20-30 companies that send them the
"best" surveys.
What I can tell you is that I have personally registered with about 200
companies and I receive more survey invitations than I can handle. And there are
a lot of people who make thousands of dollars per month from surveys and focus
groups. It's entirely up to YOU!

Is paidsurveyz.com a member of the Better Business Bureau?
A: PaidSurveyz
is not currently registered with the BBB, but our company will soon be there.
More importantly, our payment processor (ClickBank) IS a member of the BBB.
And it require us to operate in a "legitimate" fashion which includes
providing adequate customer service, honoring refund requests, etc. If we didn't
do these things they wouldn't continue processing our registrations, so maybe

What does qualify mean?

not everyone can take all the surveys. If you are father who works all day you
would not quality for a survey about stay at home moms or daily child care. A
woman would not quality for a survey about men's purchasing habits or say views

example, what type of pain medication do you take when you get a headache). Some
surveys will be specific and need someone from the targeted sex, age, work, or

How do I know your company is legitimate and this isn't some scam?
A: We
could list all sorts of reasons, but there would be no easy way for you to
verify most of what we said - so we won't even bother mentioning them. Some
people even ask to contact our existing customers, but our strict privacy policy
prohibits disclosing that type of information.
There is one thing that proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that this isn't a
"scam" ...
... The fact that we use ClickBank to process our orders - quite possibly
the Internet's largest and most prestigious payment processors.
To make a long story short, this huge company only process orders for legitimate
websites - not fly-by-night companies and rip-off artists.
If we didn't provide a valuable service for a fair price, provide great customer
service, honor refund requests (very rare!), etc. then the Internet's
largest payment processor would not continue to process our orders. They have
very strict rules about that "stuff".
Think about it ... It's not like we're asking you to send cash to a P.O. Box or
something. Now THAT would be indicative of a "scam", and you should
never do that.
You want to know the bottom line - something that most merchants won't tell you!
If you were not satisfied with PaidSurveyz and we refused to issue a
refund, all you would have to do is contact the payment processor directly and
they would issue a refund automatically.
It really is as simple as that. This is no scam, and you have nothing to lose.

Q:
How many pay in cash vs. free products, points, or sweepstakes?
A: At
this time, 27% of the market research companies in our database pay only in
cash.
A few of these pay in gift certificates to places like Amazon.com, Target,
Walmart, etc. which we consider to be the same as cash since you can buy things
there you would buy anyway. Let's face it, a $50 gift certificate to Amazon.com
is in reality just as good as cash.
Another 62% of the market research companies in our database reward survey
takers via "Cash & Prizes". What this means is that sometimes they
pay in cold hard cash, and other times they reward you with prizes, free
products, "points" redeemable for cash or prizes, etc.
It's important to understand how market research works ...
9 out of 10 times a market research firm is hired by another company to conduct
research and surveys on their behalf. Thus, the reward or incentive for any
particular survey usually depends on what the market research companies' client
is offering at any given time.
So for example, one month a market research company might offer a free product
or prize drawing (usually the odds are pretty good!) and the next month they may
offer a $50 to $150 survey and/or focus group. It all depends on what their
current clients are offering.
This is why we strongly suggest that you get yourself registered with as many of
the market research companies as you possibly can, because you just never know
who will be offering what, and when. Do NOT make the mistake of only registering
with those listed as "Cash" only.
Finally, the remaining 11% currently pay only in prizes, free products and/or
"points". Points redeemable for cash are great, you just have to build
it up before getting paid.

I participate in the same surveys as others? Can two people take the same
survey?
A: Yes,
hundreds of people will take the same survey.. so there is enough to go around.
